Privacy and deletion requests

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information Bookkeepology controls. Applicable rights and exceptions depend on your location and the type of information. Client bookkeeping records may have separate contract, tax, fraud-prevention, or recordkeeping requirements.

How to make a request

Email bookkeepologyhq@gmail.com with “Privacy request” in the subject. Tell us whether you are asking for access, correction, or deletion and the email address you used on this website. Do not include passwords, bank credentials, Social Security numbers, or full payment-card details.

Verification and response

We may ask for limited information reasonably needed to verify the request and identify the relevant record. We will respond as required by applicable law. If we cannot delete information because a legal obligation, contract, security need, or other lawful exception applies, we will explain the limitation where the law requires it. We may need to forward a request to a service provider that processes the information on our behalf.
